To improve students’ writing ability, the most important thing is to solve someproblems beforehand, such as body posture, posture to hold the pen, dynamics,motion and correct understanding of writing. By decomposing the order of strokes ofChinese character Yong, and studying the strokes of Chinese characters which includesuch strokes as dot, horizontal,vertical, left falling and right falling, one, ten, big,small, water, person and Yong, the author reveals different motion of division andcombination methods of fingers, wrists and arms. If the finger uses too much strength,the last two joints of it will be inflexible. While wrist and arm’s stiffness ofteninfluence writing fluency. Wrist’s stiffness can result in unsmoothness of pen controland ugly handwriting, leading to disorder of strokes. Research on Eight principles ofYong can solve this problem. Through the study of Eight principles of Yong, studentscan improve gesture, posture and strength of handwriting, thus enhance writingtechnical level and lay a solid foundation for promoting the ability of aesthetic andcalligraphy.
