Not only a famous writer, but also a translator with wealth of translationworks. The translated language of Ba Jin is beautiful, succinct and vivid. Hislanguage consistent with the reading habits of the Chinese people, andmaintain the original style and temperament. Through the research of Ba Jin’sliterary translation on novel, summarize the elder translator’s translationtheory and translation arts, explore how to maintain the original style andcharm in the translation process, to make sure the home reader enjoy the samebeauty as reading the original version is the aim of this paper.Our experts and scholars in China based on the Chinese traditionaltranslation aesthetic theory, learn from the theory of Western aesthetics, turnfrom the “fuzzy beauty” into imformative, specific and measurable researchobject with excellent demonstration and analysis. At the same time, there is afurther study on the role playing of the subject of translation’s culturalinterpretation capabilities in the translation.This paper attempts to study from the Ba Jin’s literary translation on novel,translation works of 《Fathers and sons》《Mumu》《Punin and Baburin》asexample, deconstruct and analyze Ba Jin’s features of translated language artby translation aesthetic theory. The Introduction describes the purpose andsignificance of this study, Ba Jin’s related research and research methods. Textconsist of three chapters, the first chapter is Ba Jin’s translation creativeactivities, a brief introduction in Ba Jin’s translation experience and translatedworks, dig the inherent power of Ba Jin’s translation behavior and thetranslation values formation of "loyal to the original" and "re-creation" inthe translation practice. The second chapter analyzes and summarizes thelanguage arts features of Turgenev’s novel. And through the analysis ofspecific text, we found Ba Jin’s translation works reproduce the images, mood, emotion and style of the original version, and explore the beauty of rhyme,the beauty of sound and images and the beauty of extraordinary words in BaJin’s translation works. The third chapter analyzes the influence of Ba Jin’sliterary creative activities on their translation activities. Ba Jin’s family,educational background and special experience equip him with certainaesthetic capabilities. The similar cultural background and aesthetic habitswith Turgenev made him feel the the beauty of language and emotion in theprocess of reding the original version.The change of Ba Jin’s outlook, worldview, values and the humanitarianspirit throughout all his life make him injected into the unparalleledenthusiasm both in the choice of original works or in the translation practice.Such a strong aesthetic emotion combined with his own succinct style ofwriting reappear the images, mood, emotion and style in Turgenev’s novels.And the readers in China can feel the enjoyment and moved since reading theoriginal version, resulting in a rich imagination, entry into the situation.
