With the vigorous development of animation industry nowadays, the animation image used in varioustypes of film and television works, advertising and other industries, peripheral product development isvery common. The essence of this phenomenon is the dissemination and consumption of a cartoonimage symbol. And creative vision in which reflects the support of this behavior is the mostfundamental forces.In this paper, the visual symbol of the new communication era background, the difficulty of definingthe concept of the cartoon image of industry in the analysis and study of unified, analysis of animationimage derivative is a visual symbols include the development of consumption behavior and applicationof derivatives based on production, industry. At the same time analyzed contained cartoon image of thegraphic logo, color system, art style and spatial texture and other visual elements, and through the casestudy of the application of derivative cartoon image, summed up the creative vision through symbolic,abstract, multidimensional methods such as visual creative expression of views. At the same time courseof expression is to retain the high recognition of visual features the original image, but also suitable forthe new media and the production of materials and application principles.In the latter part of research by Yoshitomo Nara, Murakami Takashi and clothing brand Metersbonwe"I am New Chinese" and other specific development case, combined with the status quo of China’scartoon industry, elaborate on the animation image transformation and cross-border developmentspecific creation method, and summed up the successful case of derivative application industrydevelopment of our country’s animation image enlightenment.
