In the history of world literature, English novel is one of the most important components, and English is the most widely used language in the world, many countries and regions’literary works are published in English. However, compared with the translation into Chinese works, it’s rarely that excellent English novels translated into Mongolian, and no people to collect details information about the Mongolian translation history of English novels. This paper choose the Mongolian translation history of English novels as the research object, aims to systematically sort the history of English novels translating into Mongolian, including the translator, ways of translation, the situation of published translation works, the theory of translating, translation methods and so on, in order to make people understand the history of English novel translating into Mongolian, also provide practical help to people who are interested in works of English novels which are translated into Mongolian. At the same time, the author also hopes that more and more people to participate in the team of English novels’translating, translate more English novels into Mongolian, servicing for the majority of Mongolia compatriots.This paper consists of introduction, text, conclusion, reference four parts. Among them the introduction part are reviewed research status in English novels translated into Mongolian, and introduces the research objective, research significance and research method and so on. The text includes five chapters:the first chapter summarize the English novels translated into Mongolian; the second chapter introduces the ways of English novels translated into Mongolian; the third chapter sorts the author and the translator about English novels translated into Mongolian; the fourth chapter introduces the situation of English novels translated into Mongolian being published; in the fifth chapter taking The "bear" of William Faulkner as an example to appreciate. The last part is the conclusion, to review and summary English novels translated into Mongolian.
