Analysis Of Microfilms Development

In the era of Internet-a rapid developing era, by promotion of novel media technologies, a microfilm trend is storming upon us. Microfilms give up some redundant content, which are common in traditional movies, illustrating integrate and compact plot to audience. Only in tens of minutes or even tens of seconds, plots are all linked with each other, as well as building distinctive characters. At the same time, relying on the novel media broadcast platform such as Internet and mobile phones, the popularity of microfilms is gradually becoming higher than traditional movies.With the support of technologies of modern Internet and novel media, this article is targeting on the fast-developing microfilms using theories of communication. Problems and limitations concerning about micro films have been analyzed in the following five aspects—communication subject, communication content, communication channels, communication audience, communication effect, and the future developments have been discussed as well.The thesis in the introduction mainly expatiated on the studying background, significance, defines the main concept and innovation.The first part of the dissertation mainly introduced the concept, the feature, the development and targeting on the fast-developing of microfilm.The papers in the second chapter mainly researched the contemporary value of microfilm from three issues-social value, audience’s value and commercial value.The third part of the study use the following five aspects—communication subject, communication content, communication channels, communication audience, communication effect, and the future developments have been discussed as well.The fourth chapter of the paper mainly discussed the problem and limitation of microfilm, and prospects the future of this subject.At the end of the paper, the writer summarized the process of this study.Microfilm as a new medium, receives the widespread attention, and the profound study of microfilm has theoretical and practical significance.
