In addition, most researchers limited their teaching materials to movies neglecting other video materials such as news, interviews which are the main souse of the Internet-Based CET.In order to study the feasibility of the teaching mode combining College English listening and speaking textbooks and different video materials, the author briefly introduces some related input and output theories as a guide, and analyzes the shortcomings of traditional way of teaching listening and speaking as well as the advantages of using video for teaching. Therefore the study found that this model can not only greatly improve the students’ interest in learning English, but also meet the higher requirements of students’ listening and speaking ability in the new Internet-Based CET containing videos.
