Commercial display designing means a innovative design domain of utilizing artisticstyle to achieve marketing goal. Shop-window designing belongs to an element ofcommercial display designing which can express its charm of commodity in the artistic way,attracting people’s interest, arousing consuming impulse, leading to purchase behaviorsactively. However, the development of science and technology promotes the transform ofmerchandise, traditional commercial model meets challenging.Then, whether does the shopwindow exist for a long time? In addition, the development of economy enriches our materiallife, the choice of commodity varies, the people’s demand also improves. How does the shop-window play a better role, and how does it develop?In the dissertation, the author contrasts and analyzes the present situation ofshop-window design from breadthways angle to lengthways angle. In addition, the authoralso views shop-window design as a comprehensive design subject angle to dig its principlefrom both perspectives, that is, space and vision, and to aim at exploring a new outlet to theshop-window design: it should exist as a multi-industrious and high-technology andflexible way.In breadthways perspective, the author compares several countries and regions,different regions lead to divergent geographic situation, cultural situation, and economicsituation, and analyzes the objective factors generate subjective effects, aiming at exploringthe deeper humanistic strength which influences shop-window design. In lengthways ways,the writer compares with the diverse sizes which shop-window serves, applying-“designpsychology” and “marketing”-their individual characters to guide and design; from its tradeangle, the writer expatiates that shop-window design will break the limit from its trade, andtempt to develop to multi-industry.The author analyzes the integration from two aspects–space design and vision design.From space design, shop-window design belongs to minimum space, basing on the principleof interior design, and of display design to link interior design element to master its spacedisciplinarian of shop-window design. In accordance with aesthetics as well as inscape, theauthor unites art with vision and aesthesia to probe into the application of visual language.On the basis of the integrative character of shop-window, the author deducts that its existence willbecome flexible, and puts forth several new experimental design projectsThe development of technology pushes the innovation of design, generating newtechnology, new material, new structure, so shop-window should combine it with science aswell as technology, producing new energy, rather than being replaced by new show type ofhigh–technology. In the article, the author makes an reasonable and audacious prospectcombining high technology with shop-window design.As long as any city has shop-window design, then it has the responsibility to beautifythe city environment, improve its taste. If it is eager to exist for a long time, it has to developand innovate continuously, exploring a new outlet to shop-window design.
