Practice Report On Applied Translation

With the rapid development of our society and economy, the communication and cooperation in many fields such as business, technology, tourism, and education have become increasingly frequent between China and other countries. Consequently, translation services in these application fields have become more and more popular.This report is an overall introduction to the author’s translation practice based on her translated education and teaching text of pragmatic writing. It consists of an introduction to the translation task, the translation procedure, case studies, problems to be solved, and conclusion. An introduction to the translation task refers to a description of this translation task, the translation procedure including analysis and preparation before translating, the translation procedure including translation implementation and after the translation and case studies mainly discussing about the problems encountered in the translation with theories and methods. It also summarizes insufficiencies of my translation in the section of problems to be solved and draws a conclusion about my gain after the translation in the last part.
