The Chinese phrase “Budeliao” and “Buxing” can be used as verbs, adjectivesand other parts of speech by the explanation of Modern Chinese Dictionary. Bysearching for the examples in Chinese language corpus, we found it is hard to beunderstand when these two phrases using the form of adverb during Chinese teachingfor the foreign students. Understanding the process of “from ontology research toapplied research”, confirming their adverb speech in certain syntactic condition, andanalyzing the problems when the students using these two phrases, we may solve theproblem and find some useful methods for our future teaching.To achieve this aim, we are going to expound the paper in seven chapters.The first and second chapters are the introduction and summary, to clarify theresearch object, content and research ideas, we look back of the study of the wordclass and the semantic of the phrases, based on it, it will be easier to doing moreresearch on it.In chapter three and chapter four, we recollect the formation andgrammaticalization of the two phrases, and talk about how the two get the evolutionof degree adverbs from diachronic aspect. It caused the paper can study deeply on theword speech and the word class.We study the sentence structure of these two phrases. And discuss the differentrequirements when they form the word combine with verbs and adjectives.Meanwhile, we analysis the complement structure when the two are the parts of thesentences. Also we discuss the different requests and situations when two phrases actas predicate, adverbial, attributive or complement in different sentences.In chapter six, we talk about the problems of the two phrases: it is omitted whenphrase “buxing” be used as complement; the character “budeliao” is neglected inanother phrase; it maybe misunderstanding in “bi” sentence and cause needless,mismatch or disorder in the same sentence with other degree adverbs. By analysis allthe problems, the writer will give some ideas about teaching the grammar to the foreign students.In the end, we give a conclusion to this paper.
