The Exploitation And Utilization Of Liaohe River In Modern Northeast

Liaohe River is one of China’s seven main rivers, it located in the south of theNortheast.,and the river basin is a settlement of several minorities in Northern China.Itis not only undeveloped, but also has experienced inhibition for200years of the QingDynasty, that making the region to be the edges of Chinese civilization circle for along time.The immigration has poured into the region and developed the business andtowns when the government has relexed the inhibition and encouraged farming,theregion came into a large-scale development period.After the region background,thisarticle regrates the exploitation of Liaohe River in Modern Times as the researchobject, in order to showing the history and revealing pros and cons.The article is divided into four main parts.In the first part,I introduce condition ofthe geography, the distribution of Liaohe River systems and the climate, hydrologyand natural disasters. In the second part, I describe the development of paddy fieldsand irrigation, and then make a evaluation on that. In the third part, I describe the riseand fall of the shipping in Liaohe River and analysis the influence to coastal towns. Inthe fourth part, I point out a series of preventive measures for floods and waterlogging,and hope people to get learnings from the article.
