China’s Cultural Consciousness In The New Century

At the beginning of the21st century, the trend of globalization and modernization increasingly penetrated into China’s economic, political, social and all aspects of life, globalization and modernization of Chinese culture brings all sorts of challenges. Under the background of globalization and modernization how to interaction between Chinese and western culture, where is the direction of Chinese culture, cultural consciousness is produced in this context. Cultural consciousness is in calculating the human survival and the development process, the existence state of people and its culture consciousness, realistic mission, it will be in the future. Contemporary China’s cultural consciousness is a kind of modernization and globalization of the Chinese nation culture. This paper in view of the system combed the academic study of cultural consciousness. On this basis the author delimited on the connotation of cultural consciousness, cultural consciousness contains the host structure, the structure of the consciousness, value structure three logical structure. Three structure greatly expanding cultural consciousness analysis point of view is put forward. Secondly, the author analyzes the development of Chinese cultural consciousness from the Angle of the longitudinal historical trajectory, points out that more than five thousand years of Chinese civilization is a conscious reflection on the culture of the Chinese nation. Again, the author in the framework of cultural consciousness three logical structure, theory of cultural consciousness, cultural consciousness is the people as the main body, with marxism as the compass, the socialist core values as the soul, the citizens’ moral quality enhancement as the foothold, is the inheritance and innovation as the means of culture idea. Research on cultural consciousness need open field of vision, multi-disciplinary fusion. Finally the author puts forward that we must to translate the consciousness of cultural consciousness into practice, release the vitality of cultural subject, cultural system reforms, build brand culture, promote culture soft power.
