The Study On The Character Families In You Yun In Shuo Wen Jie Zi

The research of Chinese Character’s family is the relationship of Chinese Character’s font, pronunciation and meaning. It can find out the orderliness of Chinese Character’s differentiation, and reveal the relationship between word and word. In the whole system of Chinese Characters, The picto-phonetic characters can be said to occupy a dominant position throughout the long history of development of Chinese Characters. However, the shape symbol not only expresses the meaning and the phonetic complement not only expresses the sound. This thesis is based on Bu Gao You Wang Shi Shuo Wen Xie Sheng Pu,and we select77phonetic complement series and581picto-phonetic characters from "You" yun in Shuo Wen Jie Zi, and inspect the phonetic complement’s ideographic essence of the picto-phonetic character from the perspective of character’s family, and attempt to summarize the characteristics of Chinese Character’s family from groups of the Chinese Character.This thesis is devided into five chapters. The first chapter is introduction, elaborating the research purpose, means and meaning of character families in the picto-phonetic character, and reviewing the research history of Chinese Character’s family;The second chapter is the advantages and disadvantages of the research about the Chinese Character’s family from our degree granting; The third chapter is the main body of thesis, mainly analyze77phonetic complement series and581picto-phonetic characters from "You" yun in Shuo Wen Jie Zi; The forth chapter is the analysis and summary of the characteristics of Chinese Character’s family; The fifth chapter is conclusion.
