Commentaries on the frustration from deep psychological perspective, this study thinks that frustration is a kind of frustration situation threaten the individual’s self-esteem, and through the two behavior experiments to investigate the frustration situation of individual explicit self-esteem and implicit self-esteem, to reveal the nature of the psychological frustration situation.This study in Hunan Vocational College of Railway Technology students as Participants, respectively by Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and the Implicit Association Test to test participants of explicit self-esteem and implicit self-esteem. Experiment1first through the Beck Depression Inventory eliminate students are prone to depression, from the rest of the students randomly60participants, divided into four groups, four different experimental treatment; explore the frustration situation on the influence of explicit self-esteem. Experiment2random drawing40participants, divided into two groups, explore the frustration situation on the influence of implicit self-esteem.The results of Experiment1show that, after the frustration situation the control group participants’explicit self-esteem almost no change, and the experimental group2and group3participants’explicit self-esteem have varying degrees of decline, especially in the experimental group3drops significantly, showed that experimental treatment3has a significant effect on the participants. Comparing three kinds of experimental treatment on the influence of the participants, found that the experimental treatment3with two other significant difference, while the other was no significant difference between two kinds of treatment. The results of Experiment2show that, the participants of implicit self-esteem effect significantly; After the frustration situation, the participants’ implicit self-esteem change is not significant, but the two groups of participants’implicit self-esteem all have varying degrees of decline, and the higher the degree of frustration, the more decline.This research can draw the following conclusions:(1) the frustration situation can affect individual explicit self-esteem, with frustration feeling, the greater the frustration situation is causing the more explicit self-esteem drops.(2) after the frustration situation, the participants’ implicit self-esteem level did not change significantly, implicit self-esteem is more stable than explicit self-esteem.
