With the development of market economy and the growth of per-capital income, trip gradually becomes the mass consuming product from the previous luxury merely related to the minority, which indicates that tourism has become the pillar industry of national economy. With the increasing international reputation of the Fantawild Adventure, mistranslations in C-E translation of the recreational projects, the introductions of them and public signs has been gaining much more concern. This paper conducts a thematic study on the mistranslations in the Fantawild Adventure, more specifically, the mistranslations about C-E translation of the recreational projects, the introductions of them and public signs. This paper will point out where the mistranslations lie, after which the new translation version will be put forward. Besides, the aim of it lies in informing the visitors of the specialized scenic spots and real usage instructions of recreational projects in the Fantawild Adventure.Firstly, this paper explains the meaning the word "mistranslation" and analyzes the main reasons causing mistranslation which include the misleading of the translators, the difference of the way of thinking and the nation’s psychological condition. Secondly, the paper points out the specific forms of mistranslations in Fantawild Adventure, including interpretation without real understanding, improper diction and contextual information disequivalence, each demonstrated by examples and followed by its leading reason mentioned above. Lastly, according to the leading reasons and the specific forms, this paper analyzes and proposes the translation strategies for the C-E translation of Fantawild Adventure, including amplification, omission and restructuring, each illustrated and analysed by examples.
