The Multiple Analysis Of The Modal Adverb"Guoran"

The modal adverb "Guoran" is such kind of adverb, which is used frequently in the oral communication. It not only shows unique nature in modal semantics, but also has strong function of cohesion in the discourse. This text selects the modal adverb "Guoran" as the research object, trying the best to obtain from complex language phenomenon. Based on the widespread investigation of the actual language materials altogether used the method which the static state and dynamic state unifies, the description and the explanation confirms, we try best to realize the deeper understanding and master about the modern adverb "Guoran".There are five chapters in this text, including the introduction of the first chapter.The first chapter is introduction, mainly introduced the research purpose, research significance and the previous research status. In the same time, we complain the research train of thought and the sources of language material very detailed.The second chapter is the analysis of the modal adverb "Guoran" from the view of syntactic. Through investigated, we can see "Guoran" presents a strong elasticity in the syntactic position. According to the needs of expression, it is free to appear at the end of sentences, the beginning of the sentences, the middle of sentences, sometimes can also do this independently. Meanwhile, both before and after the relevant semantic component in the higher level may form under the action of "Guoran", like sentences, sentence group and text language."Guoran" can also be present with the different parts, such as connection adverb, the mood particle and conjunctions.In the end, we mainly analyze the syntactic component, which is behind Guoran".The third chapter mainly from the Angle of semantic analysis of the modal adverb "Guoran", and its basic meaning, we known, is emphasized the consistent that things go in the direction of your expectations. In the process of research, we find that only if a language section contains "Guoran", the text must have the following semantic composition:there is some objective or subjective emotional experience, based on these condition, we make certain predictions about the development of the facts. The things go in the direction of previous expectations. And next, there are a wide variety of semantics relations between the before and after connected semantic elements connected by "Guoran", including coherent, explaining, turning, reason and result. Then we sum up four types of semantics characteristics of the word in the use, like material qualitative, and so on.The fourth chapter mainly observes the modal adverb "Guoran" from the aspect like pragmatics functions. Through analyzed, we know that in the discourse,"Guoran" show a variety of functions, like focus expression, indication of the preinstall, positive emphasis and subjective valuation. As for textual cohesion,"Guoran" also shows a strong cohesive, presents the cohesion, sentences interstate and international cohesion that are a variety of forms.In conclusion part, chapter five of this paper is summarized, and pointed out that because of our study is not deep enough and the limitation of the text, there are many insufficient places, in the later process of writing need to be further corrected.
