" Shi Shi Shang " is widely used in modern Chinese,and the current academic research on it still needs to be further deepened.This article takes the modal adverb " Shi Shi Shang " as a research object,uses CCL and other corpora as a benchmark,and combines synchronicity and diachrony to investigate its syntactic features,semantic features,subjectivization,grammaticalization,and marking functions.The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the origin of the research in this article,summarizes the current research status of " Shi Shi Shang ",points out the shortcomings of the existing research,and determines the research content,purpose and significance,methods and sources of corpus.The second chapter describes and analyzes the syntactic and semantic features of " Shi Shi Shang ".It mainly studies the syntactic distribution,semantic background,semantic relationship of the antecedent and semantic structure pattern of " Shi Shi Shang ".In addition,it also analyzes the "Shi Ji Shang" which has similar syntax and semantic functions with " Shi Shang ".It is believed that there is little difference in syntax and semantics between the two,and there is a slight difference in style,in most cases the two can be interchanged.The third chapter discusses the subjectivization and grammaticalization of " Shi Shi Shang ".Firstly,the diachronic evolution of " Shi Shi Shang " has been explored," Shi Shi Shang " has begun to appear at the latest in the Song Dynasty,and its semantic and syntactic functions did not stabilize until the Republic of China.Secondly,it analyzes the subjectivity and interactive subjectivity of " Shi Shi Shang ".The process of " Shi Shi Shang " from highlighting objective meaning to highlighting subjective meaning to interactive subjective meaning reflects the speaker’s subjective expression consciousness." Shi Shi Shang " has the function of subjective expression,emphasizing the cognitive function and evaluation.Finally,the mechanism and motivation of grammaticalization and subjectivization of " Shi Shi Shang " are attributed to the generalization of morpheme "Shang",the restriction of context,the change of syntactic position and the metaphorical mechanism.The fourth chapter discusses the marking function of " Shi Shi Shang "." Shi Shi Shang " as a counter-expectation marker can express deviations from speaker expectations,listener expectations,and objective common sense.It can be used with other turning counter expectation markers to indicate the depth of the counterexpectation;in specific contexts," Shi Shi Shang " can be expressed in line with expectations,and can be regarded as an expectation marker;" Shi Shi Shang " as a discourse mark has the functions of topic connection,turn rotation,discourse coherence and moderation;while the biggest difference between " Shi Shi Shang " as a counter-expectation marker and " Shi Shi Shang " as a discourse marker lies in pragmatics.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.It summarizes the main points of this article and points out the innovation and value of the article. |
