The Study Of"Jiu Zhe Yang"(就这样)Structure From Variant Perspectives

"Jiu zhe yang" is often seen and heard everyday. The article researches the compact structure of the phrase from three angles,that is language form, semantics, and pragmatics.We also compare the phrase with "Jiu na yang" and "Zhe yang". Finally, the phrase "just let it be"which has the function to end the communication is discussed.The first chapter discusses characteristics of "Jiu Zhe yang"from the Angle of speech, syntactic features. Pronunciation is different in different context.It can be as the syntactic components and can also be used alone.The second chapter researches the semantic situation. We found that "Jiu zhe yang" tend to grammaticalization. The pronunciation is different, the semantic is also different, too.The third chapter analyzes "Jiu zhe yang" from the angle of pragmatics. It includes referent, emphasis, contrast, and the function of derivation, end or change the subject, and the roles of summary..The fourth chapter compares "Jiu zhe yang " with "Jiu na yang"."Jiu zhe yang" and "Jiu na yang" are interchangeable in many cases, but there is a difference when using.The fifth chapter compares "Jiu zhe yang " with "Zhe yang".
