Figurative Expressionism painting originated in the West, it is thefoundation of Western phenomenology, into Eastern culture elements, under theinfluence of the East-West cultural diversity, demonstrate a charming artistic look.Since the China Art Academy will this new figurative painting performance artinto contemporary Chinese art education system, demonstrating their skills in theprofessional aspects of the theory and practice have unique value. Not onlyprovide new opportunities for Chinese contemporary art education reform, but alsofor Chinese contemporary oil painting adds a new direction. First, about the origin of the painting and the performance of itsuniqueness and value of art history; Second, the performance of figurativepainting methodology discussed China’s development and its significance inpractice.The third part focuses on the performance of figurative painting incontemporary Chinese Academy teaching. Specific teaching situation, teachingcharacteristics analysis, teachers and students work summarized, as discussed withthe results achieved in the performance of painting and teaching presencequestioned.In this paper, the performance of the figurative painting methods in collegeteaching practice of painting carried out a detailed analysis, the purpose is toallow the performance of our figurative paintings have a relatively direct andcomplete understanding.
