Dmitrii Shostakovich (1906-1975) is one of the most prominent and thegreatest composer of the former Soviet Union in twentieth century;He life’s works isnumerous," Cello Concerto No.1" is in the middle stage of his creation as important,this work cites Russia ethnic melody tone, and with the ancient natural modal scaleintegration, in the tradition composition techniques, based on the integration ofdiverse elements has its individual character, refreshing. In this paper, the mainaspects of the themes and topics in the development of harmony, musical structure,etc. Of this work are summarized in greater detail and summary from the music, andShostakovich writing style and harmony in the mid-art features for in-depthinterpretation.This paper is divided into five chapters, including chapters1-4of the main themesof these four movements harmonies based themes and sound development of the twoparts of the detailed exposition of this final chapter is the fifth harmony works of artfeature summary. The appendix describes the composer Shostakovich and "CelloConcerto No.1" relevant information.
