Practice Report

With the development of economic, the world is increasingly cooperating with each other invarious aspects such as culture and tourism. This kind of gradually deepened cooperation makesthe demand growing for foreign exchanges in culture, tourism and other aspects. So tourisminterpreting has become a vital thing for making foreign friends understanding China’s longhistory and splendid culture more in-depth.The main contents of this paper include: overview, translation project preparation,translation project implementation, translation project assessment and practice summary. In thethird chapter the author recited several translation difficulties from textual and non-textualaspects encountered in the process of translation project; and also recited solutions throughtheoretical guidance for these translation issues. Those solutions include: semantic extension,literal, translation and reinventing sentence structures etc. The author also mentioned cases toshow the impact on interpreting caused by translators’ psychological quality their own. Finally,there is a conclusion to point out the revelation the practice brought me as well as someprospects for future translation work.
