This paper took family parenting pattern as children psychological developing context. Inthis theme, it analysed Chinese traditional family context according to the specific text. Thisresearch focused on the Chinese traditional family culture in guiding children’s psychologicalgrowth and orienting their future development. Chinese traditional family in this paperreferred to traditional family and modern family which had traditional cultural factors.Children psychological developing context included different themes because of theexpectancy. Guided orientation referred to parents design, guide and intervene the children’sfuture.The research method was text analysis. It included the introduction of text and textanalysis. This research selected “Chuan Jiabao” written by Shi Chengjin of Qing Dynasty.The author chose “Chuan Jiabao” as the target text, which aimed to integrate theChinese traditional family culture and children’s psychological development and the theory ofchildren psychological development went deep into Chinese traditional family. Meanwhile,this paper showed up in the most realistic situation of traditional Chinese family which meltedtogether with family education, family psychology theory, and child development psychology.This research was divided into ten parts:The first part was an introduction, including three portions: the first was the researchquestions, the second was the literary review of history and current situation, the third was thedescription of research objectives and content of the study.The second part included four parts: the first was the horizons of cultural psychology, thesecond was text analysis of this study, the third was text analysis of “Chuan Jiabao”, thefourth was term analysis of context and orientation.The third part was an introduction to personal, family and society and the relation intraditional Chinese culture. In traditional Chinese society, personal was related closely to thefamily, family was an integral element of society, was the core of social life.The forth part emphasizes the family’s leading role cannot be ignored. In the ancientChinese society, the physical and mental growth of children particularly focused on thegrowth in their family. The traditional Chinese family played an important and specific role inchildren’s psychological growth focused on the different ways of rearing children:“Model is First”,“Men and women are different” and “There is different between family and outside”.The fifth, sixth and seventh part were illustrating children’s psychology developingcontext in Chinese family.The fifth part was the requirements of children’s moral model of traditional Chinesefamily. It trained children’s attitude to their life which was to accept their position in life. Thispart included three aspects: the first was “Moralization” education when training childrenbehaviour, the second was an advocate of enduring, restraining their desire and keeping theirpolite, the third was to prefer to collective values.The sixth part included two aspects: the differences of parenting style and childrengender roles in the Chinese traditional family.The seventh part was the children socialization and personality development of Chinesetraditional family. It included four sections. The first section was reading and family socialexistence. The second section was to emphasis on interpersonal relation and interaction inChinese family. The third section was the parenting style of “Model is First” on children’sculturing. The forth section was the family education ignored children’s independence.The eighth part was how the Chinese traditional family culture guides the children’sfuture development. It discussed mainly from three aspects: the first direction of “men andwomen are different” and “respect for rank”; direction of “bring up sons to provide for one’sold age” and “have a son to carry on his family name”; direction of “glorify and illuminate theancestors”.The ninth part was the form otherness and internal continuity of the traditional andmodern family. Although the modern family had the West factor in the form, but Chinesetraditional culture still had an extremely important proportion.The las twas the conclusion.
