Learner’s dictionary appeared in the early20th century as a new universal languagedictionary. And it was designed according to the demand of learners, specifically for thesecond language learners using dictionary. Example, as a very important part of the microstructure of the dictionary, is playing a very important part in the identification of grammar,providing context, highlighting the definition, conveying the culture and other aspects.However, from the current configuration, with case studies, in theory, the lack of systematic,also in the process of the actual match case without integrating theory well. Given the statusquo of the study dictionary example configuration is not mature, this article discusses theexample configuration problems in learning Chinese as a foreign language dictionaries.The article includes five parts.The first chapter, combining previous research in the introduction part, we summarizethe current research situation of learning Chinese as a foreign language dictionary. And wecleared research object of this paper, the research methods, the research purpose and researchsignificance.The second chapter, with reference to the existing learning Chinese as a foreign languagedictionary example research, and combined with their mastery of the Chinese internationaleducation professional knowledge, through the induction summary, for learning the theory ofdictionary example configuration are discussed in this paper. The linguistic theory,theprinciple of example configuration and the methods of example configuration are Included.The third chapter, based on the comparative analysis of the example circumstances of theLearner’s dictionary of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, we summed up the currentproblems of example configuration in Learner’s dictionary. It was mainly reflected in thenumber of examples, the types of evidence and the quality of examples.The fourth chapter, through the theory to guide practice, with the example configurationtheory, principles and methods to over20core verbs with example, the main view for theintermediate stage of Chinese learners. At last, through the construction of core verbs withcase example, sums up the current example of learning Chinese as a foreign languagedictionary compiling suggestions or enlightenment. The fifth chapter, we sum up what we have done and summarize the shortcomings of this subject and direct the follow-up study directing.
