On The Art Features Of "Republican Period Carving"

As another unique succession of carving style following the Ming and Qing carving academic schools,"Republican period carving" is an important historical period of transition. Based on the analysis and argumentation of the carving artists and the diverse art forms during Republican period, this article tries to tease out the similarities and art features of carving artists in that period, and thus concludes the enlightening role "Republican period carving" plays in the carving development in New China.
