The Acquisition Investigation And Teaching Design Of The Chinese Adverbs At The Elementary Level Of TCAFL

The elementary level of Teaching Chinese As a Foreign Language is the first semester when foreign students begin to learn Chinese. The studying of Chinese adverbs is a teaching principal and difficult point for the students at the elementary level. As a distinctive Chinese part of speech, Chinese adverbs have both lexical meanings of some content words and grammatical features of some function words. The reason for selecting’hai, zai, you, ye’as an object of research in the thesis is that the four adverbs have the same basic sense——repetition. In addition,’hai, zai, you, ye’have multiple senses and the usage of them is very complicated. The classroom teaching at the elementary level is essential for Chinese adverbs teaching. Overseas students cannot yet be able to establish a language sense of Chinese adverb and are error-prone in the social communication. Therefore, this thesis selected acquisition inspection and teaching design of’hai, zai, you, ye’in the elementary level as a research object.This thesis has five chapters. Chapter One used literal research method, analyzing ontology research, acquisition and teaching method research of’hai, zai, you, ye’in the field of Teaching Chinese As a foreign language. Chapter Two and Chapter Three are about the Chinese adverbs acquisition inspection and analysis. This part used the questionnaire method, data and statistics and error analysis to describe the acquisition of’hai, zai, you, ye’. Chapter Four is about the Chinese adverbs compilation of teaching materials. This division designed the stage of teaching and arranged teaching materials of each part. The situational learning methodology and the task-based approach as a theoretical base in Chapter Five, they instructed the classroom teaching design of the Chinese adverbs.
