The part of speech of Chinese word "jiu" is complex,There are different meanings under different parts of speech.the time adverbs "jiu" is The most widely used and more complex,Therefore,learners often have many problems when they use it.On the basis of the existing research,this paper intends to explore a new method for teaching and learning the time adverb "jiu".First,it divides the time adverb "jiu" into three meanings according to "expressing imminent occurrence","expressing occurrence" and "expressing immediate occurrence".Then,starting from each meaning,it creatively puts forward the formulaic sentence structure and compiles the various usages of the time adverb "jiu".Enter each formula structure.Secondly,according to the errors that learners tend to make in learning the time adverb "Jiu",this paper puts forward targeted teaching strategies,combines teaching strategies with the sentence structure summarized,and puts forward teaching design.The first chapter of this paper is the introduction,which introduces the topic and significance of this paper,as well as the research methods,theoretical basis and corpus sources.Secondly,it introduces the research summary of the time adverb “jiu”.Chapter two makes a detailed analysis of the meanings and usages of the time adverb “jiu”,and summarizes the structure and specific usage of the time adverb “jiu”.Chapter three is based on the HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University.It summarizes the types of errors and carefully analyses the causes of the errors.In the fourth chapter,aiming at the causes of the errors,the author puts forward the teaching suggestions of the time adverb "Jiu" from several aspects,and finally designs the teaching process.Helping time adverb "Jiu" to determine the teaching focus,better formulate teaching objectives and teaching plans,so as to improve teaching quality and teaching effect.It is hoped that the study of the time adverb "Jiu" can be used for reference and has positive practical value for the teaching of Chinese as a second language.
