Study On The Nationality Of Modern Mascot Design

The mascot design is an important part of modern visual image design, anddesignforms of modern design is the most has the affinity, expression, infectivity andhumansmell.Now, the diversity of the world range, stronginformation globalization,on the one hand,different regions, different races to break thelimitations of space,shape million, different styles of multi nationalities provide mutual communication,cognitive, learning stage.On the other hand, the exchange of learning at the same time,prone to nationality is weakened and marginalized situation. The mascot design, howto inherit the national culture, to show the nation’s geographical characteristics andhistorical tradition, will convey the national spirit and aesthetic characteristics to theworld, at the same time, accepted and recognized by the world, and put the right "thescale harmony but not Sameness", this is our modern designers need to ponder thequestion. In this paper, the national modern mascot design as the basic point, byanalyzing and combing the traditional mascot of historical development, valueseeking nationality in modern mascot design, combined with the actual cases at homeand abroad, the problem of national deletion and national development of domesticmodern mascot design were analyzed and discussed.
