“很+A” structure is composed by “很”and monosyllabic adjective, this structure is acommon grammatical structure. Even though it’s too common, some people always neglect thiseasy structure in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. But, in the attributive position,this structure is not easy than we think. This article attempts to use the theory of cognitivelinguistics in the “很+A” structure’s monosyllabic adjective, aim at explaining the agent ofcognitive linguistic is into this structure. It researches this structure’s semantic characteristicsand pragmatic motivation in the monosyllabic adjective; it discriminates the degree of harmonybetween “很+A” structure and the noun being modified; it finds out this structure’s arrayed rulein the multiple attributive and this structure acts as an attribute, then “的”has some constraintsof usage. According to these researches, I try to provide the teaching of Chinese as a foreignlanguage with direction and help, and explain some questions about “很+A” structure in theattributive position.This article includes five parts except the conclusion part:The first part: Introduction. It’s points out this article’s research purpose and researchsignificance. Then it summarizes a lot of research production and questions about this structurein the language primary and the teaching of Chinese as foreign language, and find out themethods to solve these problems on the basis of the previous studies. Lastly, this article clearsthat research purpose, research scope, correlation theory and corpus instructions.The second part: Research“很+A”structure--internal in the attribute position. According tostudy and statistics about the language of sense in some monosyllabic adjectives plus “很”,from the cognitive linguistics perspective to analyze the match condition of “很” and “A”. Itwill find out the agent of monosyllabic adjectives can be into this structure. It researches thisstructure’s semantic collocation and pragmatic characteristic.The third part: Research“很+A”structure--external in the attribute position. It researchesthe matching relationship between “很+A” structure and head noun, and then analyzes thesequence of this structure in the attribute position. And it researches the law of metaphor andconstraints about “的”.The fourth part: The error analysis bout “很+A” structure in the attribute position. It findsout the error sentences about this structure of the attribute position in the Chinese interlanguage corpus, and puts these error sentences classify, sort out, statistic and analyze, then points out thecause of these errors.The fifth part: The teaching principles and methods of “很+A” in the attribute position.According to these problems about this structure in the teaching Chinese as foreign language, Ipropose some solutions for the problems.
