"zhi" and "dao" are close preposition, with similarities in many aspects, pragmatics, but being as preposition which belongs to the "V+Pro " structure and both existing in modern Chinese, the two also have their own characteristics. This paper mainly studies the features of "V","O" in terms of speech, semantic, meanings, and pragmatic in the "V+zhi+O" structure, and make a rough sort as well as making relevant explanations respecting incorporating the preposition "zhi" into the structure of the verb, forming "V "to compound word, and ultimately lead to the grammar of the word, completing the " V" vocabulary. On this basis, complete the comparison of "V+zhi+O" structure and "V+dao+O" structure, for example, in their own compositions. Specifically, they consist of the following parts:First, in terms of the structure form, analyse "V" in the"V+zhi". This section mainly makes a survey in the verbs which can enter the "V+zhi " structure from three aspects:the semantics, syllables and pragmatic, compares the verb "V" with "V+dao " group in a timely manner. Specifically, this section is divided into three cases discussing the form of V, i.e., which V can only enter the "V+zhi ", and which V only enters "V+dao " and which V can enter both. Also, generalizes various types of V semantics that is attributable to acts or psychological verbs, dynamic or static verbs; compares differences between monosyllabic V and the two-syllable "V+zhi/dao" respectively in semantic and pragmatic aspects, trying to research under what circumstances can "Vsingle+zhi/dao " and "Vdual+zhi/dao" be used interchangeably, under what circumstances will lead to changes in other aspects of semantics or genre after the swap, etc.; analyses what form the two-syllable V is, what relative relationship its constitution has, such as paralleling, verb complements; and complete the contrast between "V+zhi" and "V+dao" in terms of V on this basis.Second, discuss the NP relevant to "V+zhi", namely, the characteristics of its subject and object. Mainly related to the semantic level, including semantic relations, semantics interaction and semantic types. divided their subject into three sections in prior NP of the "V+zhi"; neutral object and semantics interaction of verb dominate the following part of NP, which divides relevant object into five classes such as direction, time according to its meaning. In addition, it also involves examining minor differences between "V+zhi/dao" in terms of its co-occurrence words aspects.Third, from the pragmatic point of view, illustrate the similarities and differences between the two by means of the pragmatic comparison of "V+zhi "and "V+dao " Specifically, we explain the different options on the "V+zhi " and "V+dao " special context in some stylistic differences from four aspects, semantic choices, rhythm control and "V" restrictions itself.Fourth, study the grammaticalization path of "zhi" from the perspective of grammaticalization. In this part, we’ll provide some information about historical evolution of the "V" from first part and sort the regular use of "to" in ancient chinese language, in order to card the historical evolution (mostly the evolution of usage) of "zhi", furthermore, conclude the grammaticalization path of "zhi" and combine the related grammaticalization theory and then elaborate on the grammaticalization mechanism.Fifth, use the preposition incorporation theoryto explain the lexicalization of "V+zh i".In conclusion, this paper is mainly about the description of parts of "V+zhi/dao",lexica lization conclusion and comparision.lt is ontology linguistics research and is inclined to descrption.
