The Relationship Between Poem Weekly,Crescent Monthly, Poetry Quarterly And The Crescent Poetry School’s Origin And Changing

The Crescent Poetry School played an important role in Chinese New Poetry History, and made a great contribution to the progress of the Poetry arts. With the love of poetry art, Crescent poets pursued on improving the artistic charm of poetry, and had founded the right theory of New Poetry; at the same time, they created a wealth of poems to practice their own theories. These theories and practice had corrected the mess in early poetry and improved the level of the new poetry art; what’s more, it created a profound impact on the development of new poetry. Therefore, the whole longitudinal research of Crescent Poets has important significance on Literary History.Since the Crescent poetry school occur, the researchers began to do study and comment on it from the various aspects. The development of Literary school is dynamic, it closely linked with many element such as the culture of its members,their knowledge structure, spiritual pursuits, hobbies, the relationships between members and the newspaper publications, etc. For the Crescent Poetry School, the press which was the necessary physical condition of the poetry development, played a crucial role in the generation of the Crescent Poetry School. Because of the instability of such colleagues publications, the changes in publications editor, the journal guidelines, publications and other factors can also change the school and influence direction of its development. The Crescent Poetry School closely related with three publications:Poem Weekly marked that Crescent Poets appear in public view as a group, when it ceased publication, the crescent poem had to suspend their activities. The "poetry column" of Crescent Monthly continued to provide a platform for the crescent poet.The founded of Poetry Quarterly marked Crescent Poet’s return, at this time, the modernist poetic style appeared. This thesis is based on the study of publications including Poem Weekly, Crescent Monthly, and Poetry Quarterly. On the basis of the three publications,the author try to research the Crescent Poetry School’s origin and changing, to excavate the intrinsic structure and historical value. So we can deeply understand the similarity and difference of the crescent poet.
