With the heating up of global mandarin fever, more and more colleges and universities have set up Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. The curriculum of MTCSOL is the basic and the important link of talents cultivation of this major, and it plays a very important role. As a new major, the curriculum of MTCSOL is mostly carried out in accordance with the guidance of training scheme which is issued by the Education Committee of MTCSOL.Due to the MTCSOL’s development is not yet mature, its guidance and training scheme also has a space to continue to improve. At the same time, in various colleges and universities, the background of students is complex, the faculty is uneven, as a result,the curriculum especially the cultural curriculum of MTCSOL exists many problems. However, the cultural curriculum is an important part of the whole curriculum of MTCSOL and is the basis of cultural literacy of the Chinese language teacher for foreigners. The cultural curriculum of MTCSOL is scientific or not directly influence the cultivation quality of the Chinese language teacher for foreigners and the development of international mandarin Chinese promotion. Through the form of questionnaire and interview, this thesis has a survey and research on the cultural curriculum of MTCSOL of4universities in Hubei Province, which have set up MTCSOL.On the basis of research and analysis results, this thesis gives some corresponding advice. This thesis consists of four parts:The first part is introduction. It mainly states the reason and significance of research on this topic. And it reviews the main research achievements of predecessors, including studies on the curriculum of MTCSOL, the culture teaching of the Chinese as a Foreign Language, and the cultural curriculum of MTCSOL.At last, it makes a brief description on the research methods.The second part is the survey and analysis of the cultural curriculum of MTCSOL.Firstly, it analyzes the purpose, the preparation,the respondents,the time, and the content of the survey, and systematically introduces the question forms and the structure design of the questionnaire and interview outline.Then,From different aspects such as the respondents’information, students’perspectives of cultural curriculum, cultural curriculum content, cultural curriculum proportion, the teachers, the teaching materials and the examination forms, it briefly analyzes the data and results of the survey. At last,according to the data collected by questionnaire and interview, it summarizes the present problems and shortcomings of the cultural curriculum of MTCSOL.The third part is the advice on the cultural curriculum of MTCSOL. According to the results of the survey of the second part and from the factors that affect the cultural curriculum, such as training goal and personnel structure, cultural curriculum content, cultural curriculum proportion, academic teachers’own quality, teaching materials and examination forms, it put forward the advice to consummate the cultural curriculum of MTCSOL.The fourth part is epilogue. It summarizes the problems found, conclusions and countermeasures, and points out the shortcomings of this thesis.
