The Application Of On-the-spot Image In The PSAs

With the rapid development of science and technology, the modern society has entered the era of image-reading. At the same time, a variety of artistic expressions, methods and equipments are emerged in an endlessly stream, which are widely used in advertising design, photography, and other fields. Those developments greatly expand the display of advertising, which makes the expression more colorful and stylish. Compared with the way of painting, with a variety of means that contributes to the representation of the objective things, on-the-spot image has been gradually accepted by the market of art design and has become one of the most main forms of public welfare advertisement field.On the basis of literature review, this paper analyzes the concept, types and characteristics of the on-the-spot image. Moreover, we have also talked about the differences between the spot image and commercial photography. On the one hand, further discussions have been done to addresses the application forms of on-the-spot images in advertising design and their relationship between each other. On the other hand, analysis of the basic characteristics of public service ads helped to know the relevant functions, and explore the relations and differences between public service ads (PSAs) and commercial ads.Based on their own characteristics and functions of PSAs and on-the-spot images, we are trying to find the possibility of better applying the technique of expression and purpose of on-the-spot images to the practical application of PSAs.In this paper, we have conducted a thorough research on the method, the specific way, and the significace of combining on-the-spot images and PSAs, and thus have drawn a conclusion.
