This phenomenon shows not only the enormousness and richness of our country, but also the colorful culture. Because of the differences in natural environment, such as topography and climate, different area has different life style, customs and habits, and its cultural origin.This paper chooses Jingchu Geography Records Of Six Dynasties as object of the study and tries to do some all-round study on its historical, cultural, and literary values, by collecting relevant literature like historical records, annotation records, and general cyclopedia. This paper wants to research it under the social environment and reveal some local characteristics with spiritual connotation.The introduction is an overview which simply explains the connotation of Jingchu, as the concept both in culture and in region, and does a stylistic analysis of geographical records. On this basis, it introduces the situation of Jingchu Geography Records Of Six Dynasties, including the background and the literature achievements, preservation and current finishing.Chapter one mainly focus on its historical value and tries to further study the origin and development of rivers and mountains, local condition and products, and organization in history. Chapter two researches its cultural value. It studies basic information like customs and traditional festivals and wants to restore the former features. Chapter three put the attention on its literature value. It analyses the aesthetic value from the diversity of the subject and so on.Jingchu Geographical Records Of Six Dynasties describes the landscape in a lucid and lively, vivid and natural way and tells some anecdotes and legends.
