Saint-Saens was a famous French19th-century Romantic period piano and organ virtuoso, is also a prolific composer. His music combine a tendency in neo-classical and ethnic factors of traditional French music, this unique musical style reflects on his piano etude. This paper selected the Op.135as the research object, which is the representative one of Saint-Saens’three etudes, also the six creation etudes for left hand. By useing the music history, music analysis, music aesthetics and other methods to thorough research. By exploring the creative style, the music ontology, the technical issues, and the practical significance of Op.135to analyze the Refraction of the late romanticism’s French piano music’ s unique language, aesthetic trends and their impact on future frence’s musicians.The first section of the paper’ s major content is about the development context of various art periods befoer Saint-Saens Piano Etudes, and introduced his life as a great writer, his music aesthetics and his three piano etudes; Chapter II By analyzing the musical structure of etude op.135, texture harmony, rhythm tempo and other music ontology elements to explore its "neoclassical" feature, in addition to use the pedal, piano vocabulary and other aspects to excavated the trace of romanticism in this Etudes; The Chapter III will be describes the set of left-handed Etude training points, including playing techniques and timbre processing. Finally, the fourth chapter describes Saint-Saens Piano Etudes practical significance, namely the training value of its players, the impact on future generations of musicians piano creation in France and its historical limitations.
