The Application Of Interesting Chinese Character Components Teaching Method In The Process Of Teaching Chinese Characters To Foreigners

In recent years, with the popularity of Chinese learning, more and more foreigners come to China to learn Chinese, and a growing number of Chinese teachers devote themselves in Chinese international education abroad. Therefore, there are large number of problems and issues for teachers and linguists to study with. And as one of the most outstanding problems, the Chinese characters teaching also attract the attention of many Chinese teaching workers. In teaching Chinese characters, we have many common methods which actually exist some kinds of limitations in the classroom teaching. On the other side, with the founding of based-on components teaching method, people gradually feel that it seems to be better than the previous Chinese characters teaching methods. Combined with interesting teaching principle, this paper will discuss the applications of based-on components teaching method of Chinese characters.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this paper mainly divides into four chapters.The first chapter is a sum up of Chinese characters components research. Through analyzing the relevant books or papers, we define the term Bujian as groups of matched stack strokes which used as component parts of characters. Then we talks about the four classifications of Chinese character components. Finally we research how to separate the whole character into parts.The second chapter studies about the based-on components teaching method of Chinese characters. Based on the origin of Bujian teaching method, we talk about the meaning of that teaching method. Then we prove the real value of the based-on components teaching method in Teaching Chinese Characters for Foreigners.The third chapter supposes the combination of based-on components teaching method and interesting teaching method. From four aspects, the paper talks about the necessity of their combination. And the principles of the two kinds of teaching methods are also discussed in this part.The forth chapter is the preliminary discussion on the application of the Chinese character components and interesting teaching method. Aim to improve the enjoyment of the based-on components teaching method of Chinese characters, we design a lesson plan by using a variety of activities.
