Study On Application Of Musicology Analysis To Western Music History And Appreciation Teaching In Normal Universities

In this paper, musicology Analysis and education teaching theory were used together, in a positivist way, to study the teaching of Western Music History and Appreciation. Firstly, paper studies the "analysis" method of musicology. By reviewing generation and development history of "musicological analysis", research framework of the analysis method and the intrinsic properties of western music history were put out, which pointed out that Chinese perspective analysis method should include not only music ontology of music works, but also the radiation of direct or indirect contacts with music, society, history and cultural elements. Only in that way, can "analysis" correctly interpret the connotation of music, grasp the inherent laws of real, and fully embody the characteristics of music as a discipline of humanities. Secondly, combining the teaching and research of western music history and current situation, the "western music history and appreciation" teaching in normal university were summarized. Then, the analysis of Musicology in "western music history and appreciation" in teaching application were studied, and its practical significance and application value was demonstrated, that "musicological analysis" in normal universities’ western music history and appreciation teaching is a effective development which can help students constructing their innovation system and forming their knowledge system. Finally, based on the normal universities’"western music history and appreciation" teaching content:"Get to know Beethoven by Ode to Joy", according to the teaching objectives, the combination of Normal Universities Students of music theory basis and practical needs, the Musicology analysis was introduced to course teaching design. Introduction of work’s content structure, music and cultural background, the analysis of characteristics of ontology musicology may help students consciously grasping and applying the basic method of musicology analysis, which also deepen students’understanding to music works.
