After80s Novels In The Post-modern View

In the Chinese contemporary literature, the after80s literature is a special existence.Many scholars have studied it from different aspects for about20years. However, it is still aweak link in the post-modern cultural view.Nowadays, we become confused and looking upward when facing with the changes ofsocial situation、the adjustment of policy in different times. With the changes of ourpsychological and inner experience, we can understand the process of a fragmented migrationfrom the modern thought to the post-modern thoughts. Besides, we can feel the youthfulthoughts of existence and grass-roots imagination from our inner experience. We try our bestto study these works and writers and want to dig out its background, the feature ofpostmodernism and the trend of development in their works. From these, we try to show theinner context and the direction of after80s literature. According to this phenomenon, we learnits position and meaning from their growth trajectories and mental process. By means of themarks, we can recognize the post-modern cultural features in the after80s literature andmeaning in the history of contemporary literature.We divided this lecture into two parts. In the first part, we study the historical background and cultural context of after80s literature. At the next part, we analyze the supplemental room in after80s’ novels, the examples of imagery, the same motif by “the plot of time-travel”,“the vision of middle class”,“news historicism” and “consume youth”. It shows us an intergenerational state, which is a breakage and inherit statement. For the Post-modern cultural, theafter80s literature reflects some features-identification and confrontation, fanaticism and frosty and confusion and seeking.
