Ethical Thinking Triggered By Modern Medical Technology

With the rapid development of modern science and technology, modern medicaltechnologies for human health provided a strong guarantee, quality of life has been furtherimproved. The new technology not only to human life has brought a huge impact, while alsogenerating a lot of controversy on ethics. Any new science, new technologies, especially in alandmark scientific and technological revolution, from human cognition to be widelyaccepted, must go through a long process even dark. The emergence of new technology, willproduce matching ethics, ethics of science and technology to promote the emergence,development ethics of science and technology constraints, both in the mutual promotion andmutual accommodation gradually mature. No independent existence of science andtechnology, there is no prevailing ethics alone, both are indispensable. Because there is nomoral ethics of science and technology is bound to go to the extreme constraint.Modern medical technology, artificial reproduction, organ transplants, cloning andeuthanasia has been widespread concern in the community, has long been the focus ofcontroversy. This paper is divided into five parts described and discussed for each of thesefour current development of medical technology and ethical issues arising from furtheranalysis of the reasons. On the promotion of artificial reproduction, organ transplantation putforward relevant countermeasures; do not advocate cloning and euthanasia, presents theauthor’s attitude and suggestions. Finally, summed up countermeasures of modern medicaltechnology and the coordinated development of social ethics.
