It is represented withthe contour boundary of most exterior part between scenes or human bodies. It is the explicitboundary between one object and another, or between the object and its background. It is oneof the most important expression forms in painting, which is considered as the most originalsketch for plastic arts, and also the most important criterion on finally determining whetherthe painting is successful. When the contour line is used for oil painting, it hasun-substitutable value in the aspects of not only art enjoyment but also art creation.
