Study On Design Of Spatial Structure Of Books Shape

Books are the information carrier of records on human civilization, whichdisseminate ideology and cultural knowledge and inherit the spiritual civilization andprogress of mankind. At the same time, books are artworks of appreciation andcollection. In the era of material and technology being capable of doing anything, itpromotes the progress and development of book design. Designers are constantlytrying to create new forms of books by new technology and replacing the traditionalgraphic design thinking mode. Structure innovation of books, various binding formsand new spatial structure will become the trend of book design. Design idea changeswith development the connotation of books.book design will alter reader’s readinghabits. On one hand, it brings the new morphological structure to readers andstimulates the reader’s sensory with new visual and psychological feelings; on theother hand, the information transmission function exists in the unique morphologicalstructure.This paper analyzes visual space of book shape, exhibition space of externalstructure of books, and psychological space of readers contacting with books bymeans of modern concept of books design. It underlines that the books shape designshould improve the language of book design itself. Striving to find out the exploratorythinking of book design, in order to reflect the real essence of books, such as thetheme and connotation of books.
