Religion has always been the important resources of literary creation. If you want to have a good knowledge of literature,you should investigate the relationship between literature and religion. As one of the world’s three largest religion,Christian has a tremendous impact on the world literature. Shi Wei as a Chinese writer in the United States is the typical representative of Christian literature.Shi Wei is famous for her proposed concept of "spiritual literature" in the literary world.And she has attracted wide attention in academic circles.What’s more, we can obviously see that the Bible have great influence on the novels of Shi Wei.We will try to look at Shi Wei’s novel writings through the intertextuality sight of Gerald Prince’s and study the relationship between the texts and the Bible.According to the religious analysis of Exile Eden,The red wall and magnolia and River under Sunset,the texts of Shi Wei’s novels will possess not only the literary meaning but also the in-depth culture meaning.And we will reveal the mechanism of the works with intertextuality theory. Not only will we explore the original thoughts of the novel creation,but also the impact study on the artistic creation.We will interpret Shi Wei’s novels with intertextuality theory and explore the contemporary people’s spirit world.The writer symbolizes the contemporary people’s spirit world with the help of the Bible and looks for the significance of the contemporary people’s self-redemption.
