In Han Dynasty, wooden funeral chamber tombs in Central area mainly popular inthe early Western Han Dynasty to the middle, in a remote area of the Yangtze River Basinand the north and the South continued to the late Western Han Dynasty, even to theEastern Han Dynasty mid part of retention. This paper is based on thebasis of analysis on the wooden outer coffin tomb, to explore the characteristics of thewooden outer coffin tomb, tombs of the level,reason finally tried speculation timberchambered tomb gradually withdraw from the stage of history in the Han dynasty.This paper is divided into eight chapters.The first chapter reviews the research of local wooden funeral chamber tombsand the discovery history, summarized the research present situation, analyzes theexisting problems.
