In1969and1972, the museum of Gansu province excavated and cleaned a group of Western-Zhou dynasty tombs in Baicaopo of Lingtai County. After two times of archaeological excavation amounted to clean utensils unearthed from over more than1230, which only bronzes unearthed more than300pieces. Such large quantities and make beautiful Western Zhou bronzes unearthed, has aroused strong repercussions in academia. At the same time, has once again focused on a vision had disappeared thousands of years of ancient body.The old Mi State, also known as the Mixu, one party State of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, it is at the time the dominant Center in this territory of lingtai County,was destroyed by the Gong Wang of Western-Zhou. The tomb of Baicaopo of the Western-Zhou which is between Mu Wang and Kang Wang. That is to say, the host of Baicaopo Tomb in his country ruled by living within the territory, and after his death secret tomb country remains still. So, the Baicaopo tomb unearthed bronze also can represent the same period when the country dense bronze culture. In addition, within the areas ruled by the old Mi State, now within the context of Lingtai County, Gansu province has also unearthed many sites and artifacts in the Western-Zhou period, some of which are early and Interim Western Zhou dynasty bronzes.Also in the1960s and1970s, large-scale archaeological excavations of the original area of Shanxi Zhouyuan officially began. As Zhou’s fortune, the number of bronzes unearthed from zhouyuan and craftsmanship is unmatched by other parts of the country. Moreover, the bronzes unearthed in zhouyuan throughout the Western-Zhou dynasty, unearthed from all periods of Western-Zhou dynasty standards.In view of the relations inherent historical relationship between the Mi State the Western Zhou dynasty, as well as the original location secret between the Mi State and the Zhouyuan. We can say that in the history, the area of Mi State was deeply influenced by the Zhouyuan. And that, on both sides of the excavated bronzes were also reflected in different periods. However, due to the Mi State at the heart of Western-Zhou dynasty ruled the western border of the country, directly during the Guifang of nomadic peoples such as the mixed phase, this determines the key regional cultural specificity and diversity. This kind of special culture specific to the areas of the Mi State on an unearthed bronze ware, also made unique bronze culture of the area of the Mi State.
