Qian Chengzhi, a master of scholars and poetics during the late Ming and early Qing periods. Qian Chengzhi in his early years studied the perspective of the image-numerology, and later inherited and exposition of Zhu xi’s yi-ology in his late years. Qian Chengzhi the thought of yi-ology is complicated. He brought together the advantages of various yi-ology factions, so his yi-ology have a characteristics of "adopting both Han and Song". Qian Chengzhi’s yi-ology not only brought together the advantages of various yi-ology factions, but also carried forward the way of introduces historical events into the annotations of Yi, which particularly prevalent in Song Dynasty. This paper is a special study of Qian Chengzhi’s Yi-ology and it discusses the following aspects.The introduction briefly introduces the research value of Qian Chengzhi’s yi-ology, and sort out the academic research on Qian Chengzhi’s yi-ology, and points out the exists flaw and the insufficiency of current research of Qian Chengzhi thought, and put forward the writing ideas and methods of this paper.Chapter one introduces Qian Chengzhi’s life and his writings. Qian Chengzhi lived in the late Ming and early Qing period. A good family education for Qian Chengzhi study during his teenager laid a good foundation. In his middle age, he suffered party trouble, and fled to Fujian, Guangzhou and other places. The "Huo Zhuan" was written in the process of escape. After he returns home, Qian Chengzhi not only edited his old theory, but also added new thought before writing "Tianjian Yi-ology" in his later years,Chapter two is mainly on the research of the origin and the study course of Qian Chengzhi yi-ology. First of all, this paper has carried on the brief description of the development of Zhouyi. The second from the family, teaches and friends three aspects to analyze Qian Chengzhi yi-ology origin. Then briefly introduce the process of writing and carve of Qian Chengzhi’s "Tianjian Yi-ology".Chapter three makes the study on Qian Chengzhi’s basic concept of yi-ology. On the problem of the authors of Zhouyi, Qian Chengzhi agreed with the "Hanshu·YiWenZhi" says Yoyi painted Hexagram; the King Wen created the lines of Zhouyi; Confucius created Yizhuan. On this basis he thinks that Zhougong also is the author of the lines of Zhouyi. About the version of Zhouyi, the view of Zhuxi is that Yizhuan attached I Ching, caused scholars ignored the original outline of the Zhouyi, violates the Zhouyi’s original purpose. Qian Chengzhi inherited Zhuxi’s point of view, and tries to restore Zhouyi ancient classics in the Han dynasty. Qian Chengzhi regarded as Zhouyi is the book of changes as well.Chapter four focus on the thoughts of Qian Chengzhi image-numerology. Yi Diagrams and Hetu and Luoshu put an important role in the Qian Chengzhi’s image-numerology, Qian Chengzhi figure that the essence of study Yi Diagrams and Hetu and Luoshu is to explore how the hexagrams generated. Qian Chengzhi considered hexagrams by Fu Hsi, not according to the Yi Diagrams and Hetu. Qian Chengzhi in the perspective of divination discussed hexagram transformation and images of the hexagrams, etc.Chapter five focus on the thoughts of Qian Chengzhi’s meaning-pattern. First of all, Qian Chengzhi regard Taiji, Yin and Yang as the source of the universe, and humanity formed in the Yin and Yang two gases. Secondly, Qian Chengzhi analyzed Change and Transformation.Chapter six mainly discusses Qian Chengzhi the way of introduces historical events into the annotations of Yi. Firstly, brief analysis the concept of introduces historical events into the annotations of Yi. Secondly, taking an example of the’Sui’ hexagrams, to analyze the way of Qian Chengzhi introduces historical events into the annotations of YiChapter seven mainly discusses the characteristics of Qian Chengzhi yi-ology and evaluation. Qian Chengzhi occupied a place in Anhui Tongcheng Yi-ology School. Qian Chengzhi’s Yi-ology has a far-reaching influence on later generations.
