The Research On Relation Of Firemen’s Psychology Capital And Mental Health

Fire fighters play a more and more important role in today’s society. A newangle need to be found to study the influence factors of mental health about thespecial occupation. With the aim to investigate the relationship betweenpsychological capital and mental health of fire fighters, we built a structuralequation model. Then did an empirical analysis used the questionnaire providingfeasible suggestions to promote the development of firemen’s mental health.Firstly, it introduced the research background, significance, research status athome and abroad, research contents and methods. And it explained the relevanttheory about firemen’s psychological capital and mental health, which laid atheoretical foundation for the research.Secondly, According to the analysis on relations among firemen’s psychologicalcapital, coping style and mental health, we constructed research model and putforward the hypothesis. We did reliability and validity analysis of the originalquestionnaire, then modify it.Thirdly, this paper investigates, in the form of the questionnaire, analyzed thecollection dates on descriptive statistics, reliability analysis and validity by SPSS18.0, did correlation analysis and regression analysis, verified the model bystructural equation model, and summarized and analyzed the results.Finally, according to the results of empirical analysis, we propose solutionsrespectively, based on factors affecting mental health of firemen in all angles.
