This paper points out that in the new media era, the police-residents interactive pattern can be effectively improved, which depends on the application of present new technologies.In the modern society where science and technology is developing rapidly, face-to-face, letters, phone communication and so on already can not satisfy the need of daily information processing. This phenomenon stands out more obviously for modern police work. Since the reform and opening up, Guangzhou’s economic activities have been flourishing day by day. But the police work like the public security, penalty, census register, etc that come along also show the lack of hands. How to achieve a higher working efficiency? It’s a difficult problem that police staff faces.Asking science and technology for police is a quick shortcut for managing problem solving at present. How? What new media technologies can relieve police staff? This paper attempts to explain how police work in the new media era from the aspect of fire control supervision management. Firstly, fire control supervision management includes pre-event (fire control publicity and administrative license), in-event (daily supervision inspection and administrative punishment) and after-event management (fire investigation and experience summarizing). These can not separate with two steps:spot inspection and afterward making of law documents (related materials). The key to improve the overall efficiency is to improve the efficiency of the afterward written materials rearrangement. So, the writer takes his working experience along, participates in setting up a fire control website, and gets much more efficient by taking advantage of its convenience in actual work.Compared with the original working method, this system improves working efficiency evidently though several years’practice,.
