Human hands are with rich body symbols. With the development of humansociety, profound symbols are constantly accumulated. The purpose of this paper is tothrough the following four aspects of analysis and interpretation to explain whatsymbolic significance hands have.The first chapter, from the perspective of material production, hands haveimportant material wealth to create meaning. People create a natural relative to humansociety with hands, through the creation of hands to maintain the human for survival,so the hands is a symbol of creativity, is the symbol of human wisdom, suitable forsurvival.The second chapter, I will talk something about hands from the perspective ofthe faith of symbolism. Different hands of different people are important symbols forfate to each person. Hands provide the human a material life greatly and make humanmaintain hope of survival. Hands are the extension of human life, adhere to thelonging for life and yearning.It is a reflection of each individual human personality,and life is unique to everyone, just as that none of us has the same palmprint. As eachhuman individual, both must respect to his own life, but they also want to learn torespect the lives of others,life each one is irreplaceable and it cannot be copied.the third chapter, from the aesthetic pointview, both hands is one of nature givinghuman the magic of creation,which is one of the most natural beautiful existence. Atthe same time, the artistic creation of human inner world can be undenstand throughphysicochemical hands to others to achieve each other’s thought in communication.Hands not only have the beauty of nature and the magic of creation, but also throughthe artist’s creation they have the beauty of the human spirit. Said from this angle,both hands are symbols of beauty, symbols of the rich human’s mental world andinner feelings.The fourth chapter, from the perspective of social, the hand is materialized socialnorms, a kind of social structure add to the body. Every time or every where, social structure and social concepts will be on the same hands on physical attributes but havedifferent performance. Different social structure and ideas decide different ways ofexpression. What kind of gestures and movement of hands is reasonable, which isexcluded or not reasonable is restricted by the social structure. Therefore, from thisperspective, both hands are symbols of the social structure.
