Post-movie products are in the downstream of movie industrial chain which are indispensable. Countries with developed movie industry also have relatively prosperous post-movie product market. In America, the movie tape market income can be nearly equal to the domestic box office. Post-movie products almost create "The Second Box Office" for American movie industry. Comparatively, Chinese post-movie market is just in the beginning. The producers pay little attention to post-movie products while consumers have poor consciousness of copyright, resulting in standstill of post-movie product development. Reasonable development of post-movie products is very important for the realization of virtuous cycle of movie industry, which should be supported and protected by various parties including the government, movie companies, and audiences. Meanwhile, technical progress of Internet greatly enhances the transmission of movie, but also leads to increasingly serious network piracy. Pirated movies have lower and lower cost, but increasingly abundant means. Anti-piracy technologies become increasingly complex and anti-piracy cost increases correspondingly. Piracy, especially network piracy, has been a big problem results in great damage to the movie and post-movie markets.The above problems are discussed in5parts of the paper. The first part:a definition of post-movie product is given, and a summary and analysis on characteristics, market effect, and economic effect of post-movie products is carried out combining the position and function of post-movie products in movie industrial chain. The second part; the post-movie product market in America is analyzed and compared with current development situation of post-movie products in China to summarize the reference experience and expansion strategy for Chinese post-movie product market. The third part:the new opportunities of post-movie expansion in network environment are analyzed, and the network post-movie product development in current market is summarized. The fourth part:through the summary and analysis on current movie piracy situation, the damage of movie piracy to movie industrial chain is pointed out. The fifth part:movie copyright protection situation in current international society is summarized, and corresponding anti-piracy strategies are proposed based on the movie market supervision in current China.
