The world financial crisis in2008has had profound influence on the international political and economic pattern. The crisis has exposed the drawbacks of the international financial system, and has had impact to the U.S. financial hegemony, and has promoted the restructuring of the international financial order and the change of the international monetary pattern. Meanwhile, it also affected the balance of power between the leading powers, and further narrowed the gap between the main developed countries and the emerging countries, and further promoted the development of international political multipolarity.The international environment after the financial crisis has been altering and fluctuating. In this situation, the Sino-Indian relations after financial crisis in general is in a steady and good prospects for development. On that basis, the development of Sino-Indian relations is facing great opportunities which was produced by profound adjustment of the international pattern, that the strength of the major developed countries are relative declined, the emerging developing countries groups are rising, thus power relations all over the world are showing shared balanced by developed and developing countries. On the other hand, China and India has complex border issues to be resolved, the issue of Tibet and the United States factor are also the major challenges in the development of Sino-Indian relations.Looking forward to the future, opportunities and challenges coexist in the development of Sino-Indian relations, and cooperation and competition also coexists. Thus China and India should properly deal with the major challenge to establish and develop good-neighborly relations, and timely seize the opportunity to promote exchanges in various fields. So that the Sino-Indian relations can be advanced to a new level under the coexistence of opportunities and challenges. The author believes that the international and domestic environment determines the Sino-Indian relations will be all-round cooperation relations in the future, good neighborliness and comprehensive cooperation will be the mainstream of the relations, and local rivalry is secondary. On based of comprehensive cooperation, the dragon and the elephant will work together to promote the construction of a new international political and economic order.
