Baisha Uprising in August,1943is an important historic event in the history of Qiongya revolution and an outstanding success in the process of ethnic minority revolution of China, which gave a heavy blow to Kuomintang (KMT) reactionaries. In the middle of the uprising, to tackle the fierce attack of KMT Wang Guoxing and other leaders began to seek help from the communist party and thus a close association between the two sides was formed. Guided by Chinese communist party, Baisha uprising proved triumphal. After Baisha Uprising, Temporary Democratic Government against Japanese of Baisha County and Wu Zhishan revolutionary base were officially established, which exerted a far-reaching impact on Qiongya revolution or even the whole New-democratic Revolution.Based on the historical observation and systematic analysis for the reasons, the process and the results of Baisha Uprising, the paper demonstrates the characteristics of Baisha Uprising and the impacts on Qiongya Revolution and New-democratic Revolution. The paper, moreover, points out the unique characteristic of its active approaching into Communist Party, compared with the other three ethnic uprisings in the same period, namely Jizhong Hui People Uprising, Xi Haigu Hui People Uprising and Bailing Temple Mongolian People Uprising. Meanwhile, combined with the past and the present, the paper summarizes the reflections of Baisha Uprising on how to well deal with ethnic relationship and party-masses relationship and how to develop ethnic regional economy, aiming to shed light on the modernization construction of Hainan international tourism destination and provide instructional suggestions and practical strategies for development of ethnic minorities of Hainan.
