This paper is on the development of Chinese Communist Party’s education onrevolutionary tradition. It follows the "for what" and "how" questions of thedevelopment of modern ideological and political education, in hope of probing intothe obligatory and actual states of the development of Chinese Communist Party’seducation on revolutionary tradition.With the paradigm in Ideological and Political Education as the point of penetration and the development of Chinese Communist Party’s education on revolutionary tradition as the subject, this paper exploratively inquires into the correct application and creative development of ideological and political education theories in Chinese Communist Party’s education on revolutionary tradition. Starting from the development of the concepts in Chinese Communist Party’s education on revolutionary tradition,this study reviews comprehensively and thoroughly the basic elements of Chinese Communist Party’s education on revolutionary tradition and summarizes its theoreticalfoundations. Creatively proposing a historical division, it reviews the historical development of the practices in Chinese Communist Party’s education on revolutionary tradition, giving a theoretical explanation of the development of Chinese CommunistParty’s education on revolutionary tradition in the process of illustrating the divisionbetween "revolutionization" and "disciplinization". This paper exploratively inducesthe main characteristics, basic value, fundamental experiences and historical lessonsof Chinese Communist Party’s education on revolutionary tradition. Closely connected with the practical conditions, this study analyzes the realistic difficulties in Chinese Communist Party’s education on revolutionary tradition and proposes corresponding choices, so as to improve the efficiency and timeliness of Chinese Communist Party’s education on revolutionary tradition. This paper is of significant value in graspingthe practices and development of Chinese Communist Party’s education on revolutionary tradition, summarizing the experiences and lessons, probing the fundamental regularities for development and promoting the theoretical and practical developmentof ideological and political education.Though the theoretical issues and the practical implementation plans talkedabout in this paper need further research, for they cannot come into absoluteconsensuses, it is necessary and important to analyze the concepts and theories historically, systematically, as well as multiple-perceptively with question awareness.This is the major feature and innovation of this study.
